Roberto is a serial entrepreneur and global thought leader in digital health.
With 20 years of experience he has been focusing on marketing and communications, business transformation and innovation in health and wellness.
Passionate for medicine, computer science, and human-technology interactions he believes strongly that digital innovations and technologies will be the most impactful drivers of change in the healthcare industry.
He nurtures this vision by speaking at a number of conferences, as well as contributing to several research organizations and start-up accelerators.
Born and raised in Italy, Roberto transverses the globe. He enjoys the mash-up of different cultures along the way.
Roberto’s education is in medical science and he holds a degree in marketing and communications.
Roberto started his career in 1997, founding Healthware in Italy to provide health informatics services. In 1999, he founded Healthware Technology and a year later, he founded Healthware Multimedia - a partnership with Saatchi & Saatchi Health.
In 2002, he became President of Healthware Group, offering a full range of services in digital healthcare communications across Europe. Healthware was acquired by Publicis Groupe in 2007 and rebranded Publicis Healthware International (PHI).
Between 2007 and 2011, multiple units (eHealth Solutions, iMed Studios, Digital District) were added to Roberto’s team.
On August 2012 Roberto became President of Razorfish Healthware, a combined global organization working around the world, enhancing clients' access to innovative digital solutions and offering world-class marketing skills and thought leadership together with a unique outlook on the evolving digital health landscape.
Since June 2015 he has been leading the spin off of the original Healthware Team, serving as global CEO.
